@lia
Not bad at all, just got to get used to a bit of tail dragging where it didn't before.
Seems good for carving but disadvantaged when going down steep slopes.
Enjoying the change none the less. 👍

Needed a change in setup... Had these WTFs on another board so decided they needed using.
Not getting 123 km's in ;) but trying to make the most of the longer evenings. Enjoying the new rails...Before and after.

@lia Was only thinking about this the other day 🧐

@lia That certainly looks rough. The state of the roads, shocking. Poor repairs and potholes, very dangerous.

@lia Glad you're ok overall and hope you heal super fast, falling crosses my mind most rides... Not all of the time but regularly and especially as I've not had one for age. I tend to keep the speed under 15mph in general, I always put my arms out and for me it's the left arm that gets hit. Can't be screwing that up again 😉
Never seem to hit my head though.
Take care. -

@lia Hah, just chilling with Paddington lol.
It was deceptively cold, we had some blue sky and managed to dodge the showers.
We took a chance going this time of year but the roads and sights were pretty empty 😉
We had most of the remote places to ourselves 👍 -

It's been a while since I've got any slightly worthy shots... Yes, the weather has been as usual. Rainy.
Here's a few from a recent trip...
I also seem to be the first that's recorded a float at John O'Groats and also the shortest street in the world 😉 🤣

RE: Watching Action on the Leaderboardsposted in Wall of Stoke
@quicksanddyoung Thank you for the kind words... It has been challenging at times.
Even though it's challenging, kudos to those who put the mileage in. That's "Next Level"
Since I got my board in 2019 I've still only done 6312 miles.
Recently I've just been managing to get the minimum 1 mile in.Respect to the high mileage crew. 👍👍👍

XR Car Chargerposted in Sales
Just asking here if anyone (UK ideally) has an XR car charger for sale or loan ?
Got a road trip planned for about 10 days in July and won't have power where I'm going...
FM only want $40 for one atm but it's like $75 shipping and then taxes (I think)
Thought I'd ask here in the first instance.

Lovely. Thanks. 👍
I have found some other ones too. Once I tackle it I'll confirm what works best.
Fingers crossed 😉 -
RE: V1 bearing replacementposted in Repair
Hi all,
Started taking the V1 apart.
2 different bearings, held in by circlips too.
6906 and 6203Shouldn't be a problem to get them but...
My problem is the connector won't fit through the bearing. ?
Has anyone got any experience of this and can those connectors be taken apart ?

@hanahsdax
Nice one, thanks.
As you know, it takes some dedication to get them done.
I'm sure you've enjoyed doing it as much as I have 😉👍😉👍 -

Well, 99.9% on the same XR.
A few rides on the Pint and a couple on the V1, but seeing as the day streak relies on the XR, that's my go to ride.
Over that time, 3 falls.
One at 2mph. Loose gravel.
Another at 21mph on the road going up and over a railway bridge.
The last one recently on the V1, I didn't allow for it's lack of torque. Probably went down at about 12mph. This may be its limit. Lol.Most of the rides have been completed on tarmac across the south of the UK with some in mainland Europe when on holiday.
The ascent/descent in one ride was done in northern Spain, the hills were good there and I had some spare time. Really enjoyed that.
Tough ones for me were the lunchtime rides, then early morning. Easiest being the night owl ones.
From memory, the longer day rides and weekly rides were pretty tough too.
I've been out in all weathers, beautiful sunshine, torrential rain, high wind, snow and ice.There were no achievements when I got the XR in early 2019 and even when they first introduced them I didn't really make an effort until the day before Xmas 2020 (I think)
The battery is now dead at 25% so range is limited especially in winter.😆

@notsure
Lol... A new battery would be nice 😉 -

Finally !!!
It's taken me a long time to get these all done. The hardest one was the lunch time rides. That's probably taken 4 years lol.
The ascent and descent ones were also tricky but I completed them in September 2023...
The easiest were the night owl...

@lia
Lovely thx...
I have a bearing press tool for the XR (not tried yet lol) that may work.
Seeing the V1 doesn't need to be ridden daily at the moment there's no rush to get them and replace in one day, so I can get the measurements. I'll update this thread when I do...Many thanks and Merry Christmas to you and the whole community 🎄
