@lia Hah, just chilling with Paddington lol.
It was deceptively cold, we had some blue sky and managed to dodge the showers.
We took a chance going this time of year but the roads and sights were pretty empty 😉
We had most of the remote places to ourselves 👍

It's been a while since I've got any slightly worthy shots... Yes, the weather has been as usual. Rainy.
Here's a few from a recent trip...
I also seem to be the first that's recorded a float at John O'Groats and also the shortest street in the world 😉 🤣

RE: Watching Action on the Leaderboardsposted in Wall of Stoke
@quicksanddyoung Thank you for the kind words... It has been challenging at times.
Even though it's challenging, kudos to those who put the mileage in. That's "Next Level"
Since I got my board in 2019 I've still only done 6312 miles.
Recently I've just been managing to get the minimum 1 mile in.Respect to the high mileage crew. 👍👍👍

XR Car Chargerposted in Sales
Just asking here if anyone (UK ideally) has an XR car charger for sale or loan ?
Got a road trip planned for about 10 days in July and won't have power where I'm going...
FM only want $40 for one atm but it's like $75 shipping and then taxes (I think)
Thought I'd ask here in the first instance.

Lovely. Thanks. 👍
I have found some other ones too. Once I tackle it I'll confirm what works best.
Fingers crossed 😉 -
RE: V1 bearing replacementposted in Repair
Hi all,
Started taking the V1 apart.
2 different bearings, held in by circlips too.
6906 and 6203Shouldn't be a problem to get them but...
My problem is the connector won't fit through the bearing. ?
Has anyone got any experience of this and can those connectors be taken apart ?

@hanahsdax
Nice one, thanks.
As you know, it takes some dedication to get them done.
I'm sure you've enjoyed doing it as much as I have 😉👍😉👍 -
RE: Achievements Unlocked Finally !!!posted in Wall of Stoke
Well, 99.9% on the same XR.
A few rides on the Pint and a couple on the V1, but seeing as the day streak relies on the XR, that's my go to ride.
Over that time, 3 falls.
One at 2mph. Loose gravel.
Another at 21mph on the road going up and over a railway bridge.
The last one recently on the V1, I didn't allow for it's lack of torque. Probably went down at about 12mph. This may be its limit. Lol.Most of the rides have been completed on tarmac across the south of the UK with some in mainland Europe when on holiday.
The ascent/descent in one ride was done in northern Spain, the hills were good there and I had some spare time. Really enjoyed that.
Tough ones for me were the lunchtime rides, then early morning. Easiest being the night owl ones.
From memory, the longer day rides and weekly rides were pretty tough too.
I've been out in all weathers, beautiful sunshine, torrential rain, high wind, snow and ice. There were no achievements when I got the XR in early 2019 and even when they first introduced them I didn't really make an effort until the day before Xmas 2020 (I think)
The battery is now dead at 25% so range is limited especially in winter.😆

@notsure
Lol... A new battery would be nice 😉 -
Achievements Unlocked Finally !!!posted in Wall of Stoke
Finally !!!
It's taken me a long time to get these all done. The hardest one was the lunch time rides. That's probably taken 4 years lol.
The ascent and descent ones were also tricky but I completed them in September 2023...
The easiest were the night owl...

RE: V1 bearing replacementposted in Repair
@lia
Lovely thx...
I have a bearing press tool for the XR (not tried yet lol) that may work.
Seeing the V1 doesn't need to be ridden daily at the moment there's no rush to get them and replace in one day, so I can get the measurements. I'll update this thread when I do...Many thanks and Merry Christmas to you and the whole community 🎄

V1 bearing replacementposted in Repair
Hi there,
Having recently taken ownership of a V1.
I am looking to replace it's bearings.
The boards mileage showed 1 mile when I got it which I know is not correct. Not sure how that happens mind you...Anyway from a little research there is not a great deal of info available.
So can someone tell me if 61907-2RZ is the correct bearing for starters and does anyone have any pointers on changing them please ? Else it'll have to be threatened with a big hammer lol.
I can get access to a machine shop if necessary.
I will be changing bearings in my XR soon too but that seems well documented and straightforward enough.
Many thanks in advance for any advice here.

@s-leon
Thank you kind sir...
My new ride is certainly different.
I think owv1 needs new bearings from what I can tell, something I will post separately about on this forum later on today. Otherwise, I'm loving it so far ;) -
RE: Float Resolutions 2025posted in General Discussion
Keep on floating for sure...
Just 8 more lunch time rides until I have completed all the achievements...
The lunch time rides have been the hardest with work 'n all that.I've also just purchased an OG onewheel from eBay. Collecting tomorrow... Let's hope that's ok ..
Maybe get a day streak on that board.
Hoping 2025 better than 2024 😉

RE: First Ride 55 yr old fat man 245lbsposted in General Discussion
Nice one...
Never too old for sure.
My advice is just to respect the board as OneDanGTS has stated, not many people can run 20+ mph 😉
I know I can't lol.
On the way to mid 50s here and enjoy every ride. Even when it's raining and blowing a gale.Stay safe.

Note to the Pink Floyd reference, I'm a bit of a Floyd nut... Which, being just behind "Ontheturningaway" on the leaderboard is funny because he's a Floyd fan too 👍👍👍
Nice one. -
RE: Onewheel Photoshoot Threadposted in Wall of Stoke
Had a bit of spare time earlier so went for a short float along Hove/Brighton seafront.
Here's what's left of the old West Pier with the Brighton Pier in the distance

And...
David Gilmour's house on Hove seafront...
(Pink Floyd, if you didn't know that, shame on you 😉 hahaha)
