Yeah, drove. It's about 2500 miles there and back with a bit of sightseeing on the way back.
I'm used to doing a fair bit of driving so it's no problem. All electric too.
Lake Balaton was lovely too. We visited there before heading back west. It was like a bath it was so warm. š

We just love the music and the vibe was nice there.
It was 38 degrees every day though. Sooo hot.
All we could do was keep hydrated and DANCE. Lol...

Were you there or have you been? I saw a few boards there and spoke to a couple of their owners briefly, one guy (Italian I think) was in with FM in the early days.

I suddenly remembered to go for a ride at 4 minutes past midnight. TOO LATE...
What a journey. Through every type of weather to all kinds of illness (barely able to walk but could still ride haha) I've been out, but not this time.
I'm not too bothered but shame to bow out because "I just forgot"
I did notice 801StokerJones had been waiting in the wings and is now number 5 though. š

I'll continue to ride daily but now with no need to go just to make up the numbers or in a monsoon lol
Got some good coverage on the map in the process too.

Sooooo frustrating.
Well, trappedinanelevator and I both just reappeared on the leader board after a few days of coming off.
We both put it down to FM doing something in the background with the app but we have no idea.
I wrote via their ticket system to FM who explained they have no way of reinstating anyone on to the leader board and apologised for the trouble, giving me tips on making sure I had a signal etc. While in communication with them and giving them the information they asked for... I just reappeared on the leaderboard.
Trappedinanelevator now goes under the name of FM Breaks Daystreaks. Maybe you can track him down on the OW app?
I guess if your sister's streak doesn't show after a few days that could be that.
The same happened to Fused and his never came back.

Not bad at all, just got to get used to a bit of tail dragging where it didn't before.
Seems good for carving but disadvantaged when going down steep slopes.
Enjoying the change none the less. š
Needed a change in setup... Had these WTFs on another board so decided they needed using.
Not getting 123 km's in ;) but trying to make the most of the longer evenings. Enjoying the new rails...

@lia That certainly looks rough. The state of the roads, shocking. Poor repairs and potholes, very dangerous.
@lia Glad you're ok overall and hope you heal super fast, falling crosses my mind most rides... Not all of the time but regularly and especially as I've not had one for age. I tend to keep the speed under 15mph in general, I always put my arms out and for me it's the left arm that gets hit. Can't be screwing that up again š

It was deceptively cold, we had some blue sky and managed to dodge the showers.
We took a chance going this time of year but the roads and sights were pretty empty š

Since I got my board in 2019 I've still only done 6312 miles.
Recently I've just been managing to get the minimum 1 mile in.
