Rear Pint footpad as a front footpad
-
I f you ever need a Pint footpad and the cost seems high, you can modify a rear pint footpad for a nominal amount.

I used a milling bit to cut the groove, a dremel tool will work too and hot glue to seat the wires. The hot glue was flowed in with a hot air station gun.
Notch was cut out for light bar .
I only used two sensors as the Pint pad is small.
Plastic film was put on the sensors before the grip tape was applied. Rear pint footpads are readily available, I also modified XR/Plus rear footpads to work as front although I had to use 4 sensors.

This is great Lemur, last october I had a ghosting dis-mounting my pint. lifted the heel set the tail down and it shot backwards forcing me into the splits that pulled my hip out painfully (which I slammed an hour later nosediving the xr embedding gravel in my now cracked helmet). It shot into a curb just a couple feet away, tipped over with the wheel spinning full speed till I turned it off. It seems there was exposed edge of the sensor and a hole in the griptape from gravel in my shoe. Scared of it now.
Bought new pads on blkfri but might try this with the old pads. -
@b0ardski . Definitely won't cost much to modify a rear footpad. I've been using a modified 4 sensor XR rear footpad as a front for a while, never had a mount of shame or ghosting problem and the type of shoe made no difference.
