Ok. The true answer might be simply "practice."

      But.

I am a brand new rider. I'm in that stage where I can ride for short periods of time before I biff it. Giggle away, I can take it.

No skateboard or snowboard or similar experience in the past, and I'm old - 57 in a few days. Heavy at 220 and reasonably tall at 6'. Historically good balance, no health issues, but this is a challenge.

I inherited an XR Classic, new condition.

What's the secret to a comfortable left turn (normal stance)???? I try looking left, I try using my arms to shift weight to the left, I try shifting weight to my heels, I try crouching and leaning a little ..... But man. I can smoothly turn to the right, I haven't figured out left.

Ack sorry forgot this is UK (I'm US). Wt 100kg, 183cm.

@rc honestly, i think it's just practice. foot stance might be part of it, too. Lots of riders i see put their feet at each end of the board, but that seems too sketchy and more work to me. I ride with my feet close to the hub, so it's just a quick ankle flex and a bit of a weight shift for me to turn. sharper turns i think i do some sort of arm swing/shoulder & torso twist to accomplish it, but otherwise...

@rc It will take a while before your muscles in your feet get used to onewheeling you are using muscles in your feet you don't normally use to begin with try short stints but try and get regular sessions and build them up
