Recent Pint Firmware update?

I don't pay a lot of attention to the OW subreddit these days, but i caught sight recently that Pint owners were complaining about a recent firmware update. I haven't run it on mine yet, but i did see the notice on my phone a week or so ago.
I'm still in snowboarding season, but with that winding down, the Pint will be getting out more soon, and i'm wondering if anyone knows what the facts are. Is it a bad update? Should i avoid it?
