Onewheel Pint X - wont power on
-
Hi,
I've had my pint x less than a month. I've had a couple of crashes/tumbles but nothing too major.
Today I was out riding and stopped to cross a road. When I tried to engage the board again it kept failing and the front would just fall to the ground. Both footpad indicators were lit but it kept failing.
This happened three times before the board powered off and now won't turn on. I was at 98% charge when starting the ride and used about 4% up to that point. It won't turn on at all and is not responding to the charger either.
Is this something that would be covered under warranty? I bought it in the UK from Ride and Glide, official Onewheel stockist. Do you think I would need to pay to get this repaired?
Thanks in advance!

@pigeon Definitely reach out to Ride and Glide. They're pretty good with warranty and should be able to help out if you raise a ticket with them.
Had a friend who's GTS just stopped working and they took it back and got him a freshy really quickly 😊

@lia thanks for getting back to me on this. I did speak to them and they said all warranty claims have to go directly through future motion and I'd need to submit a support ticket there myself... :( not sure if things have changed since your friend got that sorted but they have said they're not allowed to do anything.
I don't suppose anyone here knows of any UK based onewheel repair places? I'd really rather not send back to FM. Wish I'd listened to all of the terrible stories about their service but then, I didn't expect my board to no longer turn on after only 30 days... :(

@pigeon Just checked the returns page for them. Must have been under 30 days for my friend as they'll take it back and handle it then. Otherwise it's back to the company :/
Stoke Solutions is the only one I'm aware of but I've heard mixed reviews as of late. Onewheel are selling parts now though so give them a poke as they may be able to diagnose and ship out a replacement part under warranty.
If all else fails if you're near Towcester I could take a look.
