Original GT ESC

Hello all!
I have a GT that no longer charges so I have ordered an ESC and BMS. The board works perfectly aside from the inability to charge. I never updated to the haptic firmware. Would someone be able to use the original ESC or is it effectively a paper weight at this point? Disconnecting the battery only bricks the BMS, correct?

@5paceninja Do you get a vesc and bms or a Gt esc and bms?

@lemur I got the Little FOCer 3.1 and MAXKGO BMS.
But good news! I found that it was the charge port disconnected at the BMS. Although I had already disconnected the battery and bricked the board, I never updated to haptic firmware so I was able to recalibrate the board and clear the corrupt memory error. I enjoyed a much needed ride today. I also have a working board until I get the VESC stuff sorted out. Because there is no way I'm not doing that.
