63 YO new pint X
-
@oddcoffee1 Yes I do, sometimes you want to go faster π, pushback is a great safety improvement.
-
@divouneh
20 miles between yesterday and today π. 47% battery after ten miles at the limit of pushback (18mph). Must be able to reach 20 miles when managing the speed. For the e-bike the advertise ranges are most of the time far from the reality. Here we are totally in accordance with the technical dataβsβ¦. π. The 8 miles from the Pint looks very short, I am very happy with my pint X despite I feel slow sometimes . With 453 miles now in 3.5 months, the next goal 500 miles will come soonβ¦π₯΄.
Nb, the GT looks interesting with the summer discount. Huge range, itβs not yet a concern for me butβ¦πππ -
@divouneh 500 miles πππ€

-
@divouneh
Funny: my sisters are visiting me, both are interested by my Onewheel. After two training sessions they already succeeded to ride it. Few more practicesβ¦ they could look to find one in France π€£ππ€£π -
@divouneh today 17 miles finaly I still have lot of battery βοΈ

-
@divouneh Your commitment and consistency is bringing me sooo many good vibes. Keep it up ^-^
-
@lia 600 miles probably tomorrow πβ¦
I see so many pints for sale, it looks that the small range must induce stress π. With the discount from last winter (1100 pint X, I got a free fender π) I am happy with my choice. I have still a lot to learn, π I will probably reach 1000 miles this summerβ¦π₯π₯π₯
-
Close to 700 miles π, new colour for my fender πβ¦)

-
It was a blast this morning, riding alone to the coffee shop ( close to 10 miles round trip).
I normally riding with e-bikes, being alone looks so peaceful π. I am riding less to keep my legs fresh for the slalom ski. π€£. The 1000 miles will be for the next month π±π₯Ί
-
1000 miles π±β¦ in less than 7 months π«£. Pint X looks to be a great pick, range, speed, cost.
My main concern is the weight π€¨, other wise I will rate it 9/10. I installed the anti diving front wheels, if you forget to switch the board βonβ; you crash yourself βΉοΈ.

Today

-
@divouneh Cracked the 20mph barrier! Congrats ^-^
-
The mode β Mode Redwood Xβ must normally extend the range due to lower speedβ¦
I will test soon, riding between Lewes to Rehoboth using the Breakwater trailβ¦ π€¨ -
@lia I donβt feel the 20mph is accurate πβ¦
-
1 year and little more than 1500 miles πβ¦ still love it β¦
I have the last software however impossible to reach 20 mph as they claim in the web site⦠-
@divouneh The pintX should be able to do 20. It's using the same voltage as the XR, which I've inched up to 23, 24 mph. However, I'm about 140-150lbs (depending on what the semester is looking like)
You should check your tire PSI and see if it's gotten a little low. Also, don't attempt going fast on windy days. Outside of your board, the biggest two things that affect speed is weight and wind resistance. (I think)
-
I will go back to France, my Onewheel is travelling by boatβ¦ a very long trip π. Wish battery will survive 4 months without charging π«

Starting slow with a curb and stacked wood is a smart way to build feel for the board before adding height. Progression like that tends to beat jumping straight to bigger obstacles. One thing worth adding as you raise the wood: practice stepping off cleanly at low speed too, so bailing feels routine rather than sudden. @divouneh, good to hear you're geared up. Curious how long you've been riding and whether you're on a Pint X specifically, since the smaller platform changes the stance a bit.

e foot position @rc's reply describes, feet closer to the hub, gives a quicker ankle-based turn, so maybe test that on your left side specifically. The regular short-session idea is also solid, since your feet and ankles build tolerance gradually rather than all at once. At 57 with good balance, the left side just needs its own repetition, not a different technique.
